COVID-19 DELIVERY SERVICE UPDATE

We have seen a manageable increase in our order volumes. As our dispatch capacity fills up, we are closing delivery days. 

Due to the volume of orders both ourselves and our couriers are handling at the moment, your order may arrive 1-3 days either side of your preferred date. Rest assured that the cheese is not in transit for an extended time. We appreciate your understanding. 

Please keep a 2m distance from delivery drivers at all times. As a precaution, APC drivers are offering safe place/no signature required delivery only. For both yours and their own personal safety, many drivers do not ring doorbells or knock. Please keep an eye out for your order within the delivery window provided. We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or stolen after delivery.

If you are self isolating, please leave a note on your door with details of your preferred safe place. Due to the high demand during the COVID-19 pandemic, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

WHEN TO ORDER

You can order online in advance and choose a day you’d prefer your cheese to arrive. Typically we accept orders for next day delivery up to 12 noon the day before, although during peak times lead times can extend to up to 48 hours prior to delivery. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, we are operating as in peak until further notice. If you are ordering cheese for a special occasion, be sure to select a preferred delivery date a day or two before your event in case of courier delays. For example, if your event is over the weekend, it is best to choose Wednesday as the estimated delivery day. 

 


 

OUR DELIVERY POLICY

We want you to enjoy your purchase in the best possible condition which is why we use next day delivery couriers..

Delivery charges are added to your order at the check out page and the price we charge is a very fair  £11.50  This is the standard UK delivery charge which includes the cost of packaging, gift cards etc. We offer free delivery for orders over the value of £100.

WHAT IS NEXT DAY DELIVERY?

We always endeavour to send out orders placed by 12 noon on the date of order. This is not a guarantee and cannot be relied on as courier collection times are not exact. If you require delivery for a specific date please ensure that you have placed your order by 8.30am  Monday-Thursday for next day delivery. Orders recieved after 12 noon will be dispatched the following day for delivery within 2 next business days.

No orders will be dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control.

Please make sure the delivery address and postcode are correct as we take no liability for goods being undelivered due to incorrect/inaccurate address details.

It is your responsibility that someone will be at the address to accept the delivery when being made. Orders outside of the UK requires a signature by our courier.

PREFERRED DELIVERY DAY

For deliveries to the majority of the UK APC deliver on the next working day after the item was sent (this may vary in some locations).  We let us know when you would prefer the hamper or cheese to arrive and assure you that we will do our best to ensure that it arrives as close to then as possible.

PACKAGING

We will send your Hamper and cheese in one of our cardboard boxes, insulated with wood wool and biodegradable air pillows. When the weather is warm, we will also include ice packs with cheese hampers, which will melt in transit to help ensure the cheese stays cool for as long as possible. We do not deliver in refrigerated vans. 

 


TRACKING MY ORDER


Please include a mobile number when you place your order. Failure to do so means APC will be unable to notify you of the delivery, your cosignment number and the 2 hour window when you can expect delivery.

Impatient? Simply visit their tracking page and enter your consignment number and delivery postcode, click to view the map and their regularly updated map will PinPoint the delivery driver's current stop and how close the driver is to the delivery destination

.If you were out at time of delivery and you've received a ‘Sorry we missed you’ card or an email notification of an attempted delivery, use the APC Called tool to reschedule your delivery or arrange a collection from your local APC depot..

 


Recycling our Packaging

We are very mindful of using too much plastic in our packaging and want to make our boxes and their contents eco-friendly. Therefore we have made a conscious effort to make as much of our packaging as recyclable as we can.

  • Compostable / Degradable – Wax coated cheese paper
  • Re-usable – Ice Packs
  • Non-Recyclable – Anything with food residue | Bag around Ice Pack | Sellotape

 


 

WHEN THE DELIVERY ARRIVES

Unpack the hamper from its box. In the unlikely event of a problem, please contact us immediately.

RETURNS

We don’t accept returns of cheese products or other perishable goods.  In the unlikely event that there is a quality concern around your cheese, we may ask you to send us some photos to help us better understand the issue.
