Competition Time

To help celebrate Norfolk Day we're offering one of our A " Norfolk Day" Hampers to a lucky recipient whose name will be drawn out of a hat live on Instagram at 10 am on the 27th of July 2022.

What is the prize?

We created the Norfolk Day hamper to celebrate small artisan Norfolk producers and the wonderful products that are made in this fabulous county. The aim was to provide something Norfolk made through the entire day. Cereal for breakfast, a sauce or dressing with supper and something for a snack in between. 

The hamper costs a minimum of £50, it will be packed on the 27th of July, sent out on the 28th and delivered on the 29th given away to one lucky winner.

What do I need to do?

Not a lot.!   Visit our Instagram account, find the post promoting this competition, like & comment on it and follow us. Do all three and your name will go into the hat.

How will I know if I've won?

We will draw out the winner's name in a live stream on Instagram at 10 am on the 27th of July. We will then direct message the winner to obtain further details to ensure the safe delivery of your prize.

What is Norfolk Day? 

• The first Norfolk Day took place in 2018 and has become an annual event celebrated on the official day of July 27. 

• With an aim to raise the profile of the county it has been backed by a number of high-profile names since its inception, including Delia Smith, Stephen Fry, and Jake Humphrey. 

• The #NorfolkDay movement became so popular in the hours after its launch, it began trending on Twitter. 

• It is organised by the Eastern Daily Press newspaper in conjunction with the Norwich Evening News and BBC Norfolk. 

• It has been described previously as “a day of fun, a day for laughter, a day to show how proud you are to live here”. 

• Norfolk is a largely rural county with a population today of about 850,000. 

• The Royal family have an estate at Sandringham and the county is home to the highest concentration of medieval churches in Europe.
