Norfolk Marmalade Awards

It's the height of the Seville Orange season and many of our customers have been buying handfuls of oranges with the intention of converting these into delicious marmalade. So we are delighted to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd  Norfolk Marmalade Making Awards #NMMA on the 31st March 2018.

"we were delighted by the number of entries we had in 2017. There are many talented amateur Marmalade makers. It was much harder work than we ever realised tasting all the marmalades but we believe we chose the rightful winner and if Linda Brady is to enter again this year she will be stiff competition again"  said Rosie Kacary director and co-owner of The Norfolk Deli.

We are delighted to announce that alongside Ali Barwick who owns and runs the Norfolk jam and marmalade business Seasons Bounty will be joining us again.

Her expertise adds to the occasion and we are delighted that she will be joining us throughout the day as part of our Showcase Saturday event.

How to Enter.

The time to make marmalade is NOW! we have plenty of Seville Oranges in stock and will even provide you with some rudimentary instructions on how to make Marmalade if needed. The rest is up to you. We are delighted to say that Hunstanton's You Cook cookshop is entering into the spirit by ensuring it has plenty of jam jars, jam pans etc in stock for anybody wanting to have a go at making their own marmalade.
